The month of May was very exciting, but we’re looking forward to the slightly slower pace that summer brings! This month we finally moved into our new home, the girls graduated from Kindergarten, the team continued working on some fun client projects and Letecia and I made a quick trip up to NYC to visit the  (ICFF)

Whether it’s Dallas, Highpoint, Las Vegas, or , going to market is one of my favorite things to do each year. You never what new designers or furnishings you’ll discover, but you’re guaranteed to find tons of ideas and inspiration. And our trip to ICFF did not disappoint! We found so many wonderful new pieces, I just had to share some of them with you.

So let’s dive into a few of my favorite new market finds!

Luke Lamp Co

This lighting is absolutely incredible! It’s made from commercial LED lighting, a flexible diffuser, and woven nylon material. And the best part is that it’s dimmable! The natural and organic shaped fixtures create a very dramatic look and definitely stand out. This would be fabulous in a living room or grand entryway – talk about a show stopper!

Kelly Ventura – Watercolor Wallcoverings

I love using art and wallcoverings to make an unexpectedly bold statement in a space. So when I saw these hand-painted wallcoverings, I was immediately drawn to the transparent qualities of her work. It was gorgeous and I started to think about how we could incorporate some of her pieces into the client projects the team is working on now. These watercolor wallcoverings are so unique and add the perfect pop of color in a vibrant home.

Whenever the team is designing an outdoor space, including an umbrella to provide extra shade is so important – it gets HOT in the summer, especially for our Texas clients. So I was excited when we found these Umbrosa umbrellas! They offer classy, flexible shade solutions that are definitely not your average backyard umbrella. They’re made of durable anodized aluminum and UV-resistant materials, so you don’t have to worry about getting sunburned or the parts getting corroded.

Gentner – Furniture and Accessories

I’ll admit when I first saw this piece, I didn’t know if it was art or a table – but it’s stunning! I love how the piece feels a bit modern, minimalist and industrial all at the same time. Focused on using only natural materials like wood, leather, and glass, these pieces are designed to make you question if it’s art or furniture. And each piece is crafted with exquisite craftsmanship and close attention to detail.

Polarmoss – Indoor Wall Moss

Fresh flowers, house plants, and succulents are a great way to add an organic touch to a space. But if you’re looking for a unique way to bring the outdoors in, you need this indoor wall moss. It’s the perfect way to have nature right in your own home. It’s made from preserved reindeer moss that’s colored and all handmade. It was all the rage at market!

I can’t wait to see how the team uses some of these pieces from ICFF in the client projects they’re working on. I just know they’re going to be fabulous! I hope these pieces gave you some fresh new ideas, whether you’re updating your backyard, designing a new space or looking for some new accessories and fixtures.

I’d love to know which one of these pieces is your favorite. Leave a comment below to let me know.
