During the few moments of relaxation time I found this past weekend, I stumbled upon a fascinating article in Elle Décor’s December issue, The Top 10 Occasional Chairs, by Meeghan Truelove. In the article, designers John Douglas Eason and Kelly Behun give a standing ovation to a highly coveted selection of fabulous chairs.

The substantial list contains seats of all shapes, colors, and sizes, but most importantly each possess a certain je ne sais quoi necessary for the interior it dwells within.

We appreciate all of the occasional chairs selected by these talented designers, but among our favorite were the Ines Chair by Made Goods and the Zig Zag Chair By Gerrit Reitveld.

Each item selected for this room has a unique purpose; the bone-inlay’s ‘exotic’ look was complimented the overall theme perfectly.[/ezcol_1half_end]

We love the splash of contemporary flair the Zig Zag Chair adds to any room. Although we haven’t placed this particular design by Gerrit Rierveld , we’ve featured an accent chair with a similar eccentric flair.

This fabulous from Vitra adds panache to the all-white desk nook in our project. The space was transformed with the simple addition of a fabulous chair.
