WE’RE MOVING! THE NEW OFFICE SERIES – 3

Hi Everyone!

We hope you’ve all stayed safe through the hectic weather here in Houston. We unfortunately found our current office completely flooded this past Monday morning, but this did not dampen our spirits! We were, instead, fortunate enough to find that the new office braved the storm without any problems, making us here at Dbh-biz.info even more excited to be moving so soon!

Here’s a look at the progress so far:1

As you can see, the walls are up, which is such a big step. We’ll soon be able to begin more of the detailed work, now that the walls are set in place.

We’re Moving! The New Office Series – 2

Hello Everyone!

It’s true: construction on our new office has officially commenced! As promised, we are going to document the renovation of Dbh-biz.info’s new home throughout the entire process. Right now we are still in the early stages of construction, but seeing the walls go up is very exciting!

This is the view from the entry doors. When we were there yesterday they were laying the wall dividers on the left wall.

3

Here is Michael soaking in all the new construction! Don’t mind the pile of dirt in the middle of the room, this huge hole in the ground is for our kitchen that floats in the middle of the space.

Finally, here is the back wall up against the large scale arched windows. Here we will have conference rooms and offices.

Our much anticipated move in date will occur in the middle of June. But for now, follow all of our new developments here or on our (@laurauinc). We will be sure to keep you updated!

Until Next Time,

Laura

2015 Trends to Embrace

COLOR
The biggest transition has been straying away from monochromatic colors and going bold with pops of cobalt blue, soft rose and melon, and especially green. Green is huge this year and we at Dbh-biz.info are thrilled to hear this color will be seen even more!

Inwood Before & After| Art Inspired Kitchen Interior Design

Designing an interior around a piece of art that a client loves and cherishes is a recipe for success!

Our Inwood kitchen project concept was centered around a lithograph by the British contemporary artist, . Our client had purchased this piece prior to finding their new home and wanted our team to build a room around it.

This kitchen design was a wonderful challenge; this gorgeous home was built in the 1920s by famed Architect, John Staub. The house is absolutely fantastic and we made no changes to the “bones” other than in the kitchen. The kitchen and breakfast room were originally divided into two small, dark spaces.
