December has arrived but there is still a ton to accomplish before the holidays are upon us! It’s not just the festivities that are keeping us extra busy this month. We’re wrapping up some fabulous projects for our clients and, of course, working away on the Boulevard Show House. I can’t believe how much we’ve been able to accomplish over the past three months. It seems like just yesterday we were doing our walkthrough of the house with Newberry Architecture to get our initial concept together.
I can’t believe how much progress has been made on our interior spaces of the Boulevard Show House! We’ve laid out design boards and pretty much-finished selections for the foyer and stairway, pool/cabana space and the family room/playroom area. Things are quickly coming together on the inside. And while I’m super excited about all this interior progress, I want to jump back out to the exterior of the Boulevard Show House. They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, so does that mean your windows are the eyes to the soul of your home? At any rate, let’s talk Windows!
When it comes to remodeling projects, its a process and takes some time for them to really take off. There are tons of different pieces that you have to get started, but then all of a sudden…wow! Things start coming together and it feels like the project has shifted into hyperspeed. There has been a lot going on since our last update and now we’re really starting to get into the fun stuff!
There has been so much happening at The Boulevard Show House (read all about the big announcement here) that sometimes I have 20 things going on at the same time. We’ve been making so much progress that I couldn’t wait to share another update with you! The new walls and floors are on their way to being installed and, before they do, we’re finalizing the next phase of the renovation: home technology!
This has been a whirlwind month for the Dbh-biz.info team and, by now, I’m hoping you have heard all about the Boulevard Show House (aka my house)! It’s an exciting project and I am so thrilled to share the process and redesign of my personal home with you. This is a huge task – and we have a ways to go – but I am incredibly happy with the progress thus far. We couldn’t have made such strides in the renovation planning of our 1925 Tudor Revival home without our talented team of Partners. From the very beginning, we called on the expertise of our Build Partner: . They have been with me every step of the way, from our initial tour of North Boulevard, to purchasing our home, and planning out and executing the renovations. They know their stuff!
Before & After photos speak volumes about the importance of interior design. The possibilities of a well planned renovation are boundless and that is what we hope to share with you in this series. No interior is ever ‘hopeless’. Where there is a room there is a way!
