To me, flowers are more than something beautiful to look at. They’re perfect for adding a pop of color to your coffee table and for creating elegant tablescapes. (I never host a soiree at home without including some fresh blooms on the table.) And the team and I always make sure there are flowers waiting for our clients at their big reveal.
Prepped with an organized studio library and helpful tips we’ve learned along the way, the Dbh-biz.info design team and I have fully embraced our freshly tidied sourcing and design space. While Cathryn Linn of the assisted us with an in-office project, her team really specializes in home organization. After receiving such great assistance and information throughout this process I had to sit down with Cathryn one more time to talk to her about best practices for organization in the home.
With fun new projects and collaborations scheduled throughout 2019, I decided to make getting rid of clutter and improving productivity our first order of business. So, it was time to do a little remodeling in the Dbh-biz.info office. The team needed more than one place to hold meetings and our inventory needed to find a permanent home. And as the team has grown since we first moved in, they needed more room to design and source for projects.
It never fails. From going to market, reading one of my favorite design blogs, or browsing on social media, I’m constantly introduced to amazing products and artists! Besides using newfound faves to create Classically Current interiors, our team loves to share pieces we’ve been obsessing over in our journal. Last November, our Obsessions blog post featured Attalie Dexter Home + Accessories. Shenay, one of our lead designers, stumbled upon this beautiful, authentic wall covering idea! Since then, we’ve set out to learn more about Attalie and her creative design process.
It’s been a few months since I was first inspired by Cathryn Linn’s . I shot her a DM, told her I needed lots of help, and thankfully, she agreed.
Dozens of custom labels later, the final reveal is here!
It’s hard to believe that spring is right around the corner and that means lots of spring cleaning and organizing. Luckily, we’ve gotten a jump start thanks to the help of Cathryn Linn from . Last month we began the process of organizing one of the most important spaces in the Dbh-biz.info studio – the library. Would you believe we spent more than 4 days sorting and purging?!
Last month, we resolved to do something big: organize the Dbh-biz.info studio library. The library is a very important part of our office and probably one of the most-used spots in the entire studio. It houses all of our design samples, from silk wall coverings to hard woods. It’s a place of inspiration, but also a place that has gotten so cluttered, we’ve been reduced to large catch-all baskets and full shopping bags.
I can’t tell you how excited I am to be able to share today’s post with you! I recently had the opportunity to partner with Nancy of and to help stage The Branford on Avalon Place, a gorgeous home in River Oaks, for an event they were hosting. The event hosted local builders, realtors, architects, designers and potential buyers for bubbles and desserts as they enjoyed an exclusive sneak peek at this stunning home.
